The Firefox 49.0 Beta 3 Test Day took place in 12th of August. The main focus during the testing was around Windows 10 compatibility, Text to Speech in Reader Mode and Text to Speech on Desktop features. Nearly 10 Contributors from Tamilnadu participated and 5 bugs were filed ... I am proud to be one among them. During the Test day I have filed a bug (BUG ID:1294974 ) . MOZILLA WEEK OF CONTRIBUTION 2016 - LOCALIZATION  Localization (also referred to as "l10n") is the process of adapting a product or content to a specific locale or market. Translation is only one of several elements of the localization process. With the help of Localization , we create a world where the open web exists beyond linguistic, cultural, and geographical boundaries and a common man can adopt a software/tool without any language barrier.     Many contributors from different parts of the world are invloved in this project. some of  the mozillans in Tamilnadu have also shown up their interest in localization project and i am proud to be among one of them . I have suggested 113 strings( my pantoon profile link )and we have a Firefox club in our college (SNS COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY). I feel proud to be a part of that team. SUMO (SUpport.MOzilla.org) is a global gathering of many enthusiastic and dedicated people whose passion is to help all users of Mozilla’s software and products. SUMO operates on the same principle that Mozilla does: a core of staff coordinating the operations and an army of contributors powering them.   The best way to contribute to Open Source is Localization and SUMO.
